Harvest ran the digital marketing for David Bowie: Fame, Fashion, Photography a not-for-profit pop-up exhibition of unseen David Bowie images to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
We needed to generate buzz around the exhibition through social media channels. Buzz needed to translate into footfall for the exhibition, as well as money raised for Cancer Research UK.
We created a social media strategy tailored towards building a large and engaged audience of UK-based Bowie fans. Our teaser campaign of exclusive images helped secure national press and radio coverage.
We surpassed even our own expectations – raising £60,000 through the sale of the images, and an extra £2,400 from the sale of catalogues, all of which went to Cancer Research.
