To combat page speed issues, we rebuilt the entire site from the ground up
Brief
Page speed is becoming increasingly more used by Google as a ranking factor. Bathing Solutions suffered with a slower page loading speed, so we needed to change that.
Solution
In order to increase page load speed, we removed any reliance on external codes and callouts, like plugins. We analysed each piece of external code and rewrote it to keep the core functionality but removed anything that slowed the site down.
Results
We saw a marked year-on-year difference in levels of traffic between 2016 and 2017, which averaged at a 37 percent increase.
