The role
Harvest are looking for an experienced SEO Account Manager who has a strong understanding of search engine optimisation alongside the larger digital landscape as a whole.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, organised, a strong communicator and have a passion to develop their understanding of SEO and digital in general.
Core responsibilities
- Leading the execution of on-page, content and technical SEO work for your clients
- Helping the wider SEO team and client services team define the strategy for both clients and new business
- Taking responsibility for the clients’ organic performance and liaising with the wider team in order to maximise performance
- Owning the reporting for your clients
- Managing core projects and SEO campaigns for clients
- Managing the work of junior members of the SEO team
Day-to-day tasks
- Comprehensive keyword research and mapping to drive users to the business’s relevant pages
- Technical audits & implementation
- On-site & content optimisation
- Briefing, creating and editing content for clients
- Performance reporting and learnings
- Communicating with clients via calls and other platforms
- Working with wider team to analyse performance and provide solutions for improvement
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in technical & content SEO, preferably agency-side
- Having a proven record of executing successful SEO campaigns
- Current knowledge of trends and practices in SEO, relating to both on-page, content and technical
- Able to produce reports with insights and communicate these effectively and clearly to clients
- Understanding of Google Analytics, Search Console and other industry-leading tools
- Strong analytical and numeracy capabilities. This includes strong Excel skills
- Impeccable written and spoken English and attention to detail
- Able to produce client-facing documents to a high standard using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work well under pressure, autonomously, with an ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to collaborate with the wider SEO team and agency as a whole
- Understanding of SEO’s place within the wider marketing mix
- Highly motivated and self-sufficient worker
- Strong time management skills
Nice to have, but not essential
- Experience with using WordPress and a variety of other content management systems
- Passing knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and other tracking tools beyond Google Analytics
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimisation techniques and tools

Hours & Salary
- 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday are standard, with flexitime
- Hybrid work – required 2 days per week in the London office
- £38,000-43,000, depending upon experience
