Harvest is searching for an Account Manager with the skills and enthusiasm to help our clients with a specific part of our service offering. Central to the role are all the necessary talents of a great client manager – excellent communication skills in everything from PowerPoint to pub lunches (remember those?), an eye for budget management, and a feel for getting to the root of a client’s true business needs in order to recommend the right strategy.
On top of that – and this is where the “specific” part comes into play – this role will be focussed on clients whose needs go beyond Biddable Media advertising into SEO, Web Development and Data & Analytics projects. The ideal person for this role will have some experience of, and lots of enthusiasm for, these disciplines. We don’t need a python developer, but we would love to find someone who is capable of translating client briefs into web development and data projects, and vice versa. Many of our projects are rooted in SEO best practice and Paid Media performance, so experience in this channel is key. And finally, a knowledge of Project Management principles and how they can be applied to digital development and analytics projects would be a huge bonus. We want this individual to work with the rest of the team to develop a Harvest Way for managing development and analytics projects – including commercials – so if that sounds fun rather than daunting, this is the role for you.
This role will be fully supported by the Business Director, who is committed to providing whatever training and development is required to help our new hire fulfil this complex role. We hire based on cultural fit, ambition and useful skills, so any gaps in experience we will commit to filling for the right candidate.
As with any Client Services role, this individual will coordinate with a team of specialists on each client, though there are currently no direct line management responsibilities. They will also be contributing to new business pitches, Harvest’s own marketing and internal knowledge sharing and training. We’re currently working full time from home and will get our new member fully onboarded remotely.
