The new rules of paid search

Here’s a safe marketing prediction for next year – the biggest channel by spend in 2014 will be paid search.

That’s an easy prediction because paid search spending is so much bigger than any other digital channel. In the first six months of 2013, advertisers spent an incredible £1.8 billion on paid search.

Paid search is massive – yet there is a huge amount of waste here through badly managed campaigns. On January 24th in the first of our series of breakfast briefings in 2014, we are looking at the simple rules for getting search right.

On top of a (reasonably) healthy breakfast you’ll enjoy two short, fact-filled sessions:

(1) Mike Teasdale, Harvest Digital’s planning director will go through the five key rules for getting the most from paid search, from account structure through to establishing the right metrics.

(2) Matt Bush, Head of Performance at Google will talk through how a wide range of new ad extensions within Google Adwords can help you to drive even more value from your PPC spend.

This could be the most valuable two hours you spend out of the office all year! And we’ll even throw in a fantastic free breakfast at London’s Soho Sanctum Hotel
