William Corke
Director
At Harvest, William is responsible for account management and for ‘keeping the office on the rails’.
Looking back, he thinks that it was inevitable that he would end up working in digital, where the pace of change is matched by the immediacy and quality of the data.
Before Harvest
Before founding Harvest, William worked across the gamut of marketing services over a 15 year period; starting in above the line brand advertising before moving to sales promotion and direct marketing at Option One and then Tequila. His next step was to Carat, where he got to grips with the arena of media across all paid-for channels.
William's ideal day...
When it comes to an ideal day out, William has a pick and mix philosophy involving any or all of the following: fine food, music (listening or playing), swimming in clear water without human predators and the right people as company.
Mike Teasdale
Planning Director
One of the founders of Harvest, Mike’s role as Planning Director is to lead top-level strategy across all of Harvest’s clients. He also manages Harvest’s own positioning in the market, including external communications and is driving the development of new value-added services for clients. A frequent commentator in the press and on his blog (indolent.com), Mike is one of the trainers on the IDM’s Digital Marketing Diploma, sits on the IAB’s Search Council and speaks frequently at industry events.
Before Harvest
Mike started his career as a copywriter at WWAV Rapp Collins and then in 1995 joined Tequila to set up their first web marketing division. In 1999 he moved to Answerthink, a global IT consultancy, to work as marketing consultant for clients like Abbey, Shell, IBM, Siemens and Motorola.
Mike's ideal day...
Mike likes to think of himself as having sophisticated tastes, but in reality his ideal day would involve watching a rare Newcastle United victory followed by a few beers.
Emma Wilson
Managing Director
Emma Wilson is the Managing Director of Harvest Digital, overseeing commercial aspects of the agency with a particular focus on media buying. At the tender age of 25 she was named in Media Week's "thirty under thirty" list of young high-flyers in the media industry. She was recently named as the 7th most powerful person in digital by Marketing Direct, who also commented that she is "scary - but in a good way"!
Before Harvest
Before setting up Harvest, she worked as a marketing consultant with Hyperlink, where she managed online marketing strategy for clients like Post Office Counters, RBS Commercial Services and Black and Decker.
Emma's ideal day...
We're not saying that Emma is competitive, but her ideal day out would probably be to fly her twin sister back from Australia and beat her at golf, followed by an evening out at a Dolly Parton concert.
Rob Ryan
Creative Director
Harvest Digital’s Creative Director, Rob is young, dynamic and improbably tall. He is a great team leader, and has helped us to identify and hire some fantastic talent into our Experience Team. Rob is that extremely rare creature, a creative who is very well organised – he is well-used to delivering complex projects on time and on budget without compromising creative standards.
Before Harvest
Rob's career started as a designer with the Daily Telegraph, where he worked across online advertising and web design. He then moved across to the agency side, where he picked up a string of awards for his work, including Best Retail Site (2006), Best Airline Site (2006) and Best Financial Site (2007).
Rob's ideal day...
Rob's hobby is racing classic cars, so his ideal day out would no doubt involve a sunny day on the race track, knee-deep in sump oil, trying to get an unwilling engine to spark into life.
