I went to the butterfly jungle at the natural history museum this weekend (it’s great by the way, so if you can, check it out). In the gift shop i came across a poster featuring the Butterfly Alphabet. Ahhh. ‘Tis a mysterious and wonderful world.

What makes the little reminders from To Do so good is as much to do with where they are placed as what they say. Lots of things there that i need to remember….

The fascination with hand written and randomly found things continued - fueled by being introduced to this blog by this chap.
Found is all about letters, photos, and hand scribbled notes - carelessly left out and about for people to find and spread all over the internet. There’s some real gems in there.

As i’ve mentioned, i like the idea of postcrossing - but you have to give in order to receive!
So, i got the details of a lady who would like a postcard, and a little of idea of what she’s into:

“I love warm weather and summertime. I collect Fortunes from Fortune Cookies!! I have about 500. I love cool colors and Bold colors I love cats, dogs, and other animals. I collect all kinds of postcards, no matter how weird. Please no bugs.”

So, i abandoned the idea of just posting some bugs and set to work thinking about fortunes. This was my favorite fortune i found after a quick google - i hope she sees good things through it.

We had our first munchies breakfast this morning, with a little group of folk from harvest. The brief was simple, just chat about our creative ideas and eat some grub.

We did both.

This week conversation focused mostly on oyster cards and oyster card holders. Why are they so ugly? How come you only ever see ikea ads on them? Why do they fall apart? Why wont TFL let us hack them?

I also showed off my knitted oyster card holder i just finished. Plus, I’ve got a breakfast challenge planned for next week…

…but i like it. I know that the tactile graphic trend is everywhere, but hey, lets enjoy it while we can. Two lovely things i saw in the gym this morning
